Commitment to the Environment

From our early experience working at the world’s first all-solar, environmentally designed subdivision, Mike Corbett’s Village Homes in Davis, California, in the 1970’s, we have always sought to bring environmentally conscious design solutions to our projects. While some ‘green’ design offers challenges and choices in regards to budget, the majority of good environmental decisions are solved with good design, i.e., proper site planning, building orientation, use of natural lighting, and efficient space planning.

We are at an exciting time in our profession with an abundance of new green products, resources and design philosophies. We are committed to a continuous educational process with our clients, contractors and consultants to not only reduce the negative impact of projects on the environment but to actually make the world a better place for our children and future generations.
