The original slightly unusual ranch house was torn down to floor level and replaced with a new two story, craftsman-inspired modern home with large open-plan family spaces next to a wonderful back yard. The master bedroom shares the second floor with the kid’s bedrooms but is up a couple of extra steps for greater privacy — with the serendipitous result of greater ceiling height in the family room below.
